Šabac je grad koji ceni znanje. Iz tog razloga radi na promociji mladih, vrednih i obrazovanih ljudi. Bojana Mladenović, načelnica Odeljenja društvenih delatnosti kaže da su uspešno organizovana dva republička takmičenja i da je Šabac bio domaćini republičkog seminara iz fizike.
– Rekonstruisali smo osnovne i srednje škole, finansirali vantelesnu oplodnju bračnim parovima, osnovali Fond za lečenje dece. Sa započetim aktivnostima u ovoj godini, nastavićemo u 2018. – istikla je načelnica Mladenović.
